About KW Korean BBQ

As a Korean BBQ enthusiast, I've found that the experience at 605 SW 152nd Street goes beyond mere eating. Each table's built-in grill becomes the centerpiece of a social dining adventure, where friends and family gather to share in the joy of cooking and savoring together.

The Premium Meat Selection at KW Korean BBQ Exceeds Expectations

Their carefully curated meat selection showcases the finest cuts available. From perfectly marbled beef bulgogi to succulent pork belly, each protein is thoughtfully prepared with traditional marinades that enhance their natural flavors without overpowering them.

KW Korean BBQ Elevates the Banchan Experience

One aspect that truly sets them apart is their impressive array of banchan (side dishes). These constantly refreshed small plates offer a perfect complement to the grilled meats, featuring house-made kimchi, crisp pickled vegetables, and seasonal specialties that change regularly.

KW Korean BBQ Masters the Art of Traditional Marinades

Their signature marinades are a testament to Korean culinary expertise. Whether you choose their galbi (marinated short ribs) or spicy pork belly, each meat has been perfectly seasoned to achieve that ideal balance of sweet, savory, and umami flavors.

The Dining Experience at KW Korean BBQ Creates Lasting Memories

My favorite visits involve gathering a group of friends to sample their combination platters. These generous portions allow you to explore various cuts and cooking styles while enjoying the communal dining experience that makes Korean BBQ special.

Their menu extends beyond barbecue to include classic Korean dishes like dolsot bibimbap served in sizzling stone bowls and hearty stews that warm you on cool Northwest days. The comprehensive drink selection, including traditional Korean beverages and local craft options, perfectly complements the food. Their commitment to quality ingredients, attentive service, and maintaining true Korean flavors makes every visit memorable.

After strolling around Burien, my group of three decided to give this place a try and we had an amazing time! This small, family-owned restaurant offers a high-quality selection of meats and banchan, making it a must-visit. The AYCE menu, priced at $30 for dinner and $21.99 for lunch, allows you to enjoy 90 minutes of dining and order two different meats at a time. The portions are generous, with standouts like the brisket, thinly sliced pork belly, well-marinated kalbi, and juicy shrimp. The non-stick grills are a bonus, ensuring perfectly cooked meats without burning. The self-serve banchan station with popular side dishes like homemade kimchi and potato salad was a hit. Don't miss the $1 per person tea with unlimited refills! The ambiance is cozy and wheelchair-friendly, with seating for larger groups. The husband and wife team who run the restaurant are friendly, attentive, and helpful with cooking. Overall, a fantastic spot in Burien to enjoy delicious KBBQ and explore nearby shops for boba, books, or desserts. Highly recommended!

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly welcoming and kind, making for a pleasant dining experience. The food served here is reliable and satisfying. One unique aspect of this place is the option to serve your own side dishes at an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot, which adds to the fun. While the variety of side dishes is great for those looking to indulge, the quality and taste may not be up to par with other Korean restaurants. However, it still captures the essence of the all-you-can-eat experience. The meat and soups offered were decent, but could use a bit more flavor for my taste. Despite this, I still found the meal enjoyable. The portions are generous, and after just two orders, we were more than full. Overall, this restaurant is a solid choice in the area for satisfying your Korean BBQ cravings. :)

I am thrilled to have discovered a Korean BBQ restaurant conveniently located near my home in Burien. The food is incredibly tasty, and the all-you-can-eat prices are very reasonable. I can't get enough of their brisket and pork belly - they are simply delicious. One of the best parts is the banchan buffet, where you can choose your favorites without any waste. Personally, I can't resist the kimchi and potato salad. The staff at this restaurant are wonderful - they are friendly and attentive. When my family visited with our 8-month-old son, they were incredibly sweet and accommodating. One server even offered to bring something for our little one to eat, which was very thoughtful. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, which is exactly what I look for in a dining experience.

During my recent visit to KW Korean BBQ, I was looking forward to a wonderful dining experience, but unfortunately, the meal did not quite meet my expectations. The ambiance upon arrival was lovely, with a warm and cozy atmosphere and attentive service. However, the food fell short of what I had hoped for. Although the dishes were visually appealing, the flavors were disappointingly lacking. The soup, in particular, was bland and lacked seasoning, despite the fresh ingredients used. The overall taste was mediocre, missing the depth and richness that would have enhanced the dining experience. While the service and atmosphere were praiseworthy, the lackluster flavors left me feeling somewhat underwhelmed.

I used to drive all the way to Federal Way for AYCE Korean BBQ, so I was thrilled to find a delicious option closer to home. The quality of the meats at this restaurant is top-notch, and the marination is just right. My personal favorites were the marinated LA kalbi and beef bulgogi. I really enjoyed the self-serve banchan station as well. The staff member who served us was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed, including a clean grill. Although street parking is the only option, we had no issues finding a spot nearby. The restaurant's interior was spotless, and their "Excellent" health rating was prominently displayed on the door. We visited on a Saturday when the AYCE option was $29.99 per person, and it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was! The portions were generous, especially the kalbi which was exceptionally flavorful. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. I also appreciated the self-serve side dishes, allowing me to customize my meal to my liking. Even though I live in Seattle, I will definitely be returning to this restaurant soon.

I'm thrilled that there's now a kbbq spot in Burien! The selection of meats is fantastic, but the brisket is my go-to choice with its perfect fat ratio - it's better than any other place I've tried. The banchan is self-serve and varies slightly each visit, but usually includes kimchi, fish cakes, cucumber, pickled radish, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and leeks. I particularly love the leeks, a unique addition. Every dish I've sampled has been delicious. My only small complaint is that garlic and jalapeños come with an extra $1 charge. The service is incredibly friendly, and there's minimal wait time between ordering meats. Parking is convenient, located in Old Burien with pull-in street parking right out front or regular street parking on a nearby block.

The quality of the meat was exceptional, with the beef brisket standing out as a favorite. Our server was attentive and timed their check-ins perfectly, always appearing just as we were ready to order more meat. The exhaust system at the restaurant was impressively effective, as I left without any lingering Korean BBQ smells clinging to my clothes.

During my recent visit to Burien in the greater Seattle area, I stumbled upon a Korean BBQ spot that caught my attention with its affordable all-you-can-eat lunch price of $21.99. As a fan of Korean BBQ, I was excited to try out their offerings, especially the beef brisket paired with kimchi and pickled radish. The service was decent, with the owner checking on us regularly during our weekday lunch visit. The meats kept coming, and drinks were promptly refilled. The self-serve sides at the buffet bar had its advantages and disadvantages, but I didn't mind it either way. However, the inconsistency in the cuts of brisket was disappointing. While the round eye steak was lackluster and rubbery, the traditional brisket with more marbling was more flavorful and had a better texture. The kimchi and pickled radish sides were not up to par, with the pickled radish tasting off and the kimchi overly salty. On the bright side, the leek kimchi was a pleasant surprise and became my second favorite side dish. Despite my initial doubts based on online photos, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The owners were friendly and provided good service. If you're a brisket lover looking for a budget-friendly option, this place is worth a try for some hit-or-miss brisket plates. However, if you value consistency and quality in your brisket and side dishes, you may want to explore other options.
